Why not let some additional configurable hard-buttons ?
like for quick switching of presets for with flash/without flash, or single shot/bracketing (hdr or focus), or fous modes/patterns, or alternative cycle <sports moment / studio moment / current settings>..
Could You embed multivendor flash controller (Godox, Yongnuo, Canon, Fuji...) ? would be cool too, and eliminate bulk. ok, just too good to be true.
Is the shutter button hardwired (part of the Alice), or is it part of the phone, with the unavoidable delays such design involves?! If you've tried using Nikon's SnapBridge, you know what I am talking about. AF-On function would be essential for a lot of us as well!
Secondly, why not make part of the display work as an EVF, when used in the normal position (that would need a small loupe in one corner of the phone, possibly positionally selectable for right-eye or left-eye shooters (we are not all made alike). That would make your design much more user-friendly with anything but short focal length lenses.

Good luck, otherwise!
